This Lantern Set is not only unique and beautiful, it also makes you feel good!
In our coffee boutiques in Kathmandu we only use hand brewing equipment. Pour over is our first choice of coffee making. Each used filter is collected, cleaned meticulously, given to our female paper artisan sisters Muna & Aruna. They create together with Panu, Uma, Sita and Ameet these beautiful lampions for your garden and home. The light pattern is mesmerizing.
The candles contain fresh coffee grounds and are moulded especially for this lanterns by another Laxmi. Burning time is min. 2.5 hours
The used grounds are offered free to customers as fertilizer, and we also make body scrubs out of it! Nothing is wasted!

We like to give our coffee a story, a face and a connection between the farmers and you!
We source them direct from small cooperatives in Kaski, Ilam, Nuwakot, Kavre and Sindhupalchowk Districts in the Mid-hills in Nepal and work closely with the local farmers, to help to improve their livelihoods. Overall we work with more than 800 farmers families.
Every harvest is different depending on climate, farmers and some unforeseeable factors like earthquakes, economic blockade, corona etc. We also add new farmer’s owned cooperatives according to demand. Please ask us whats in our shelf. We are happy to recommend the right coffee for you.
